ENVIRONMENT

Our rural house is placed in Oseja de Sajambre, a quiet place without noises where you can enjoy a beautiful environment.

Sajambre Valley is located in the northeast of the province of León, in the heart of the Picos de Europa. Its geographical disposition allows to access by road both from Asturias and from León.

If you come to our rural house from Asturias, you will cross the Beyos Gorge which has 15 km and is considered one of the longest in Europe.
If you come by the side of León, you will go down the Pontón Pass with an altitude of 1280 m. In this descent into Oseja de Sajambre you can see the source of the Sella River, in the “Fuente del Infierno”.

In the valley we can find beautiful mountains, rivers, roads, mountains of beeches and oaks and the five villages which form the valley: Oseja de Sajambre, Pio, Vierdes, Ribota and Soto de Sajambre.

HOUSE EL COTO

It is a house to rent completely which has accommodation for 4 people. It was built over 200 years ago and, after having been renovated in 2003, was opened as a Rural House but keeping traditional architecture of Sajambre dominated by wooden floors and stone walls. Its interior combines the highest quality and the comfort of modern furnitures and electrical appliances with the charm of the rustic furnitures. It has an easy access to the house and enough space for our guests can park their vehicles.

Our rural house is divided in two floors:

First Floor

It has 2 rooms fully equipped, one matrimonial and one with double bed and full bathroom. From one of the rooms step is had to a nice ancient corridor of wood where it will put to there sit and to be enjoyed of a few nice conference of Europa’s Beaks.

Ground Floor

It has a wide kitchen/living-room, equipped with all kinds of electrical appliance and a fireplace with firewood which is perfect for the cold winter days and for a romanctic stay.

Outdoors

It has a small terrace with garden furniture where you can sit and enjoy the wonderful views of Sajambre Valley.
