ENVIRONMENT

Our establishment “La Grandota” is located in Oseja de Sajambre, one of the five villages of the Sajambre Valley. It is part of the Picos de Europa National Park.
The valley is a major gateway to forests of beeches and oaks which coexist with other botanical species such as ash trees, holly trees, chestnut trees…
We can walk through a road which is surrounded by beeches and it will be easy to see a chamois, a deer, a badger or other typical animals of the area. The valley is crossed by the river Sella which rise in Fonseya, in the port of the Pontón.
If we continue to the north, we find the Beyos Gorge. There, the waters of the river Sella flow between impressive vertical limestone walls and give rise to waterfalls and springs.
The road wich passes through the door of “La Grandota” is a small piece of the Arcediano Path. This Path connects Sajambre with Amieva crossing the gorge. In the past, this road linked “Reino de León” with the east of Asturias.

LA GRANDOTA
Our Rural House is full rental and has accommodation for 6 people. It is fully equipped to make our guests feel at home. The house is decorated with wood and stone as major elements.
The house has three floors. It also has a spacious porch from where you can enjoy amazing views of the Beyos gorge and Pico Jario and an enormous estate.
We have heating on every floor and there is a fireplace in the living room.
• Ground floor: living-dining room and kitchen. We have a television in the living room with DVD and stereo. The kitchen has glass-ceramic hob, microwave, fridge and washing machine.
• First floor: Two double room and bathroom with hydromassage shower.
• Second floor, attic room: a room with a double bed.

Prices are for full accommodation.
“La Grandota” has accommodation for 6 people.
There is the possibility of extra bed.

Low Season:

“La Grandota” (6 plazas) – 115€ per night.

High Season:

“La Grandota” (6 plazas) – 145€ per night.

Extra beds: +15€.
